Acosta v. Martinez. A drunk driver rear-ended our client, causing a herniated disc and significant neck and back pain. The insurance company offered $3,000 to settle. After trial, the jury returned a verdict of $589,000.

  • $368,000Pretrial offer: $25,000

    Medical malpractice

Ontivero v. Talent Tree, et al. Our client went in for a simple outpatient procedure. The IV line in her forearm twisted, creating a compartment syndrome blockage that required emergency surgery to relieve the pressure.

  • $100,000No pretrial offer

    Fraud

LMD Media v. CCI Camera City. An internet store sold a local company equipment that was not what its site advertised, then refused to refund the $3,000 purchase. The jury awarded $3,000 for the equipment plus $100,000 in fraud damages.
